On November 11 and 12, innovation takes center stage in Rome at the Auditorium della Tecnica Conference Center for MOST 2025 – Innovation That Connects, the national event dedicated to the future of sustainable mobility. The CO-SMART project will be among the key participants, with a dedicated exhibition stand showcasing the solutions developed over the past three years, alongside some of the best Italian experiences in research, industry, and public administration.
Launched as part of Italy’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), the MOST project – promoted by the Foundation of the same name – brings together 24 universities, the CNR (National Research Council), and 24 major companies in a unique partnership that has already produced prototypes, observatories, laboratories, and collaborative platforms capable of reshaping the future of mobility in Italy and across Europe.
Under the theme “Innovation That Connects”, the two-day event will explore the challenges and opportunities of the post-PNRR phase: digital transformation, energy transition, smart materials, resilient infrastructure, and public-private partnerships will be the core themes of panels, keynotes, and roundtable discussions featuring ministers, university rectors, CEOs, researchers, and startups.
The program kicks off on Monday, November 11, with opening remarks by University Minister Anna Maria Bernini (joining remotely), Infrastructure Minister Matteo Salvini, and ANCI President Gaetano Manfredi. The day continues with sessions on digital technologies, energy transition, sustainable materials, and public-private cooperation, along with dedicated segments featuring innovative startups and young researchers. Notable speakers include Andrea Lenzi (CNR), Renato Mazzoncini (A2A), Annalisa Muccioli (Eni), Pierroberto Folgiero (Fincantieri), and Vito Pertosa (Angel Holding).
On Tuesday, November 12, the spotlight will be on MOST’s thematic observatories, firsthand stories from project spokes, and a closing address by MOST’s Director General Gianmarco Montanari. CO-SMART will again be present with its stand, welcoming institutions, businesses, startups, researchers, and citizens interested in discovering the project’s outcomes and future vision.
MOST 2025 is more than just a conference — it’s a platform where prototypes, ideas, and visions become tangible, where partnerships are forged and new strategic paths are defined for the country’s future.
The CO-SMART exhibition stand will serve as an interactive space to explore smart mobility solutions, understand the impact of applied research, and discover how innovation can improve people’s everyday lives.
